Jalukie, August 1 (DIPR): A farewell programme of the outgoing SDO (C) Jalukie, L. Jamithung Lotha was held at Zeliangrong Baudi Hall Jalukie on July 28, 2011. The programme was chaired by Kanili Chishi, IA Jalukie and invocation was pronounced by Mongzeung Pastor Jalukie Town Local Baptist Church.
In his farewell speech, Jamithung expressed gratitude to all the Head of Offices, GBs, Village Council Chairman, Jalukie Town Council (JTC) and the public for extending their cooperation and bringing development to the area and further hoped that such cooperation would continue with the new SDO (C). Short speeches were also delivered by Namtsi Head DB who spoke on behalf of the SDO (C) staff. Gaubeu, Member Advisory Board spoke on behalf of JTC; Biasinlak Head GB on behalf of GBs Jalukie Town; Er. Namheu Khate SDO (Power) on behalf of head of officer and Hupun President Elite Club Jalukie. In their speech, they lauded the outgoing SDO (C) for his selfless and dedicated service to the people of Jalukie and Peren district and also added that he is one of the most sincere, energetic administrator. They also extended their best wishes to Jamithung for his promotion as Deputy Secretary Veterinary.
A farewell song was presented by Zaiping Member Advisory Board of JTC and benediction was pronounced by Nzanthung Pastor Lotha Baptist Church. The programme was attended by Head of Offices, GB, Village Council, JTC, representative of various organizations. Altogether around 200 people attended the programme.
