On January 10, 2018, on the 70thanniversary of the Kachin State Day, at the gathering of prayer in Myitkyina (Capital City of Kachin State) Rev. Fr. Dr. Yung Wa said, “God has given us (Kachin) a sovereign nation, but we don’t see it. I also didn’t know it when I was working only in the Catholic Church, but now I know it.
The same thing is happening in Nagaland as well. Many people don’t know or find that God has given a sovereign nation to the Nagas. As a result of it, they are now shouting from the top of their voice that “solution before election”. Without knowing the solution of NSCN-IM Framework agreement (FA) and election are the same, because both are for the Indian Constitution, but not for the sovereignty of Nagaland. What do the Nagas need or require another solution besides the declaration of Nagaland independence in 1947 and Plebiscite of 1951?
Their stand for FA solution is totally contradicted with their celebration of the so-called Naga Day on 10th January 2018, and opposing against the declaration of Nagaland Independence and Plebiscite. Because the memorandum was not submitted to be under India. It clearly stated; “If the British Government however, want to throw us away, we pray that we should not be thrust to the mercy of the people (India) who could never have conquered us themselves and to whom we were never subjected; but to leave us alone to determine ourselves as in ancient times.”
The same people shouted against Shillong Accord because they said, it was written to accept Indian Constitution, but again this people stand for Indian election and a solution to accept Indian Constitution. They against killing the Nagas by Nagas, but supported killers and murderers again. They shouted against corruption, but are supporting corrupted leaders. They said they are Christian, but they are in fact worshiping money, not Jesus. For the love of money, they told lies, they killed innocent people and robbed the innocent public. The Indian leaders became ashamed to speak of the Shillong Accord for it became an invalid document, but the NSCN leaders and supporters who stand to accept Indian Constitution have no an iota of shame to speak against the Accord. What confused and self-contradicted people they are.(They means; the NSCN leaders and supporters who stand for solution of FA).
They speak and work for reconciliation but supported the creation of more factions. They speak for peace and stop violence, but they support the killings and more violence. Can they assure that if the NSCN-IM’s FA solution is brought there will be no more killings among the Nagas? They accept the killers and murders as great leaders and heroes, but deemed the people who are truthfully and honestly working for the Naga nation as idiots. After the formation of the NSCN, they supported the formation of NSCN was good and right, but the NSCN led the Nagas in the blood path and to the lake of blood. It is not dry till date. Do they feel ramose for wrongly supporting the NSCN?
I felt sad for confused and self-contradicted present Naga generation. I do think nothing is possible to change this generation and I do not write this for the present generation because they won't accept and comprehend it, nor repent. But it is for the future generation so that they may learn about this generation from my writing.
