Dimapur, July 10 (MExN): The Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church (DSBC), for the first time on Saturday, organised a retired peoples’ fellowship for church members who have retired from active government service. Around 85 retired servicemen along with their spouses attended the programme. Retired government officers Kivito Assumi, Kakheto Chishi and Vikiye Zhimomi; and Toholi Shohe, a retired government teacher shared their thoughts and experiences on retired life. Pastor DSBC, Reverend Pughoto Aye exhorted the congregation.
Recreation and a special entertainment programme was organised by the youth department. The main purpose of the retired peoples’ fellowship is to give hope and faith to retired couples. It also aims to strengthen their fellowship God.
