Dimapur, October 11 (MExN): In keeping with the Nation’s yearlong celebration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Tagore INTACH Nagaland Chapter in collaboration with the NEZCC is organizing a one day Festival for Schools and School children on October 14. The festival titled – “Celebrating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Tagore” will have an art and poetry competitions.
INTACH Nagaland Chapter in a press release informed that the art competition will be on the portrait of Tagore and poetry competition from the Gitanjali and the competition, in two categories – junior level for Classes 5 – 7 and senior level for Classes 8 – 11 will be conducted simultaneously at the IMC Hall, Notun Basti, Dimapur. A poster competition for Schools on Tagore’s pioneering contributions on subjects that are of contemporary relevance will be a part of the festival. Special guest, N. Hushili Sema IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur will give away the Prizes. All the participants (students) with their Team from respective Schools and all concerned are requested to reach the venue (IMC Hall) at 9:00 AM sharp.
