Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN), on September 13, notified that Col Khriehie Angami, Commander, 2nd Bde, W/C, Naga Army has been suspended from active service per a period of six months with effect from September 13.
He was suspended compliance with the directive of the C-in-C Naga Army, FGN on the charges of “financial embezzlement,” stated the notification from Thonkiubui Zeliang, Deputy Secretary, Rali Wali Ministry FGN.
“All government entrustments and assignment given to him become null and void with in mediate effect. Henceforth, all concerned department or individuals are informed not to deal with this suspended person,” it said.
Further, any one dealing with him in the name of the government shall be doing so at their own risk, it added.
