Mokokchung, December 23 (MExN): A  house was completely razed when a fire broke out early this morning  at  Sungkomen Ward here at 5:30 AM. Fortunately, there was no casualty in the fire, but properties worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed in the fire.

The owner of the residence has been identified as one Katentemjen, a government employee hailing from Mopungchuket village under Mokokchung district. His wife, three children and  a  domestic help were in the residence when the fire broke out. It is reported that the youngest son  escaped with second degree burns, but is said to be out of danger.
