Official pre-launch ceremony of PDFL held in Peren Town
Peren, September 11(MExN): In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of Peren Township, the pre-Launch of the Peren District Football League (PDFL), 2022 was held at Indoor Stadium, Peren Town on September 10 with Executive Engineer, Er Tsiamchi Ndang as the special guest. The league will be held from October 4 to 29 at Jaluki B village ground.
This was informed by Raithu Newmai, President, Peren District Football Association (PDFA), who mentioned that the league’s logo was unveiled by Ndang and the logo’s designer, Philip Malangmei with the theme ‘Rise as One, Win as All’. The PDFA’s Anthem was released by composer Namnahei Nza, President, Peren District Music Society.
Accordingly, PDFL 2022 season tickets, league’s official ball and the Champions trophy were also unveiled during the event, he added.
It was also announced that eight clubs would be participating in the first season of the PDFL. These included, Barak Football Academy, Native Feathers FC, Benreu FC, Northern Zeme Sports Association, Nsong Area Sports Association, Prime FC, Puiteing FC, and Lekie Mtei FC.
The program concluded with the prayer of blessings by Haiku Nza, Pastor, Peren Town Baptist Church.
