Dimapur, October 13 (MExN): The first revision of Konyak-Naga Holy Bible was released on October 9 by Rev. Dr. ZK Rochill, Auxiliary Secretary Dimapur Bible Society of India (BSI) at Mission Centre Baptist Church (KBBB head quarter).
Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum, Mon Executive Secretary Chemyuh in a press release said that Rev. Dr Rochill in his message emphasized on the necessity of Bible in everyone’s life and encouraged to work and help for the propagation of the God’s words. Y. Nyeiwang Konyak Minister of Education & (NCERT) Nagaland was the guest of honour who said that Nagas in general and Konyak in particular are the blessed people for having God’s special natural provision and protection upon the people and land. Konyak had donated Rs 50,000 for the programme expenses and also Rs 5 lakhs for the cost of 5000 Holy Bible.
The occasion was chaired by Rev T Honlong Principal MTC and welcoming address proposed by Chemyuh the Executive Secretary KBBB. The programme closed with word of thanks by Rev. Yeangphong Konyak, Literature Secretary KBBB Mon.
