Dimapur, February 28 (MExN): Making a momentous mark on the pages of Chang Church history, on February 27, 2011 the installation service was held for S. Anungla as the first woman Pastor of the Chang Baptist Church Kohima. She is the first fulltime woman pastor within the Baptist churches in the Chang area.
S. Anungla, who is well experienced in the field of church activities, finished her Bachelor of Divinity (BD) from Union Biblical Seminary (UBS), Pune. She also served for 10 years as the secretary, Women Department of Chang Baptist Lashoung Thangyen (CBLT) the apex body for all Baptist Churches of Chang Area. The installation service was executed by Noksen Ngamen, secretary, Women Department of CBLT.
