Dimapur, June 25 (MExN): Inauguration of fishery farm school cum training was held at Tseminyu sub-division, on June 24 which was sponsored by ATMA Kohima. Y. Kent DFO Kohima, AMC member ATMA, graced the occasion as chief guest. Athinu Rengma SDAO BTT Convenor Tseminyu chaired the programme. Woban BTT Convenor, Jakhama spoke on the topic “concept of farm school”.
Earlier chief guest, Y. Kent remarked that the purpose of the fishery farm school is to train up those famers who have fishery pounds to be more effective and productive. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from Shwenga Kent. Lunch was provided to the participants after which distribution of fish seeds to all the farmers before their departure. Altogether 54 farmers from different villages under Tseminyu Sub Division attended the programme. This was informed in a press release issued by SDAO Tseminyu Athinu Rengma.
