Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): Five more disciplines have been included in the Nagaland State & Para Games (NSPG) 2026, which is scheduled to be held from November 2 to 14 at Chümoukedima and Dimapur.
The newly included disciplines are lawn tennis (men), sepaktakraw (men and women), table tennis (men and women), volleyball (men and women), and wrestling (men and women), according to a press release issued by the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) on September 29.
The NSPG was earlier known as the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games (NOPG).
The NOA stated that the list of medal events for all disciplines will be notified separately. Contingents for the Games will be constituted based on the 17 districts of Nagaland. Registration of players and teams will be conducted online from October 3 to 15. The NOA stated that “once players are registered there will be no change of names.”
The Games Organizing Committee will provide accommodation, local transportation, food and technical arrangements for competitions in the host cities. The dates of arrival and departure will be notified separately. The NOA also named Khuvinu and Kivitoli as coordinating officials. They may be contacted on working days, Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 4 pm.
