Ukhrul September 11 : Unidentified anti-socials razed five goods-laden trucks at Phangrei (Zero point) along the Jessami-Ukhrul highway, 21 kilometers away from Ukhrul town last night, September 10.
According to sources, five trucks loaded with fertilizers parked some meters away from the zero-point were seta fire by some unidentified youths at around 7:00pm. The Ukhrul district police department is said to have taken stock of the situation last night and a criminal case lodged. A team of media persons went to the spot this morning. The damaged trucks bore the registration numbers as NL01G-9810, AS01R-5951, MNO16181, MNO48535 and MN-05G-0754.
