Dimapur, February 24 (MExN): The Flying Rabbits CC today lifted the 1st Champions Trophy T-20 Cricket Tournament organised by the Nagamese Baptist Fellowship (NBF) Sports Ministry, Chümoukedima Village.
In the final match on February 24 at the Local Ground Chümoukedima Town, the Flying Rabbits defeated the Police Baptist Church Chümoukedima by 3 wickets, after reaching the target of 200 runs set by the latter in 18.2 overs and losing 7 wickets in the process. Nayan was adjudged man for scoring 28 runs.
The Champions received a cash award of Rs 50,000 with trophy while the runners-up walked away with Rs 25,000 with trophy. Pastor Moses Basena of Grace Salvation Nagamese Church, Kuda village, Dimapur graced the valedictory function as the guest of honour and gave away the prizes to the winners.
