Dimapur, April 24 (MExN): The Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) has sought solidarity of the people and has extended invitation to all concerned individuals and organizations to its first Open Public Interaction to be held in Dimapur on April 25. The public interaction is open to all.

The Public Interaction, scheduled 1PM onwards at Elim Hall DABA, is the first in a series of open platforms that the Forum will be undertaking, the FNR said in a statement.

Held under the board theme “Reasoning Together,” it said that the interaction will focus on three key issues: (i) On what are our shared values? To together identify, cultivate, nurture and strengthen shared values of belonging, (ii) To discuss and explore pragmatic steps of Forgiveness, Healing and Reconciliation to take the Naga Concordant forward, and (iii) To invite constructive criticism and develop suggestions to empower the Naga Reconciliation process.

The format of the public interaction will be participatory and through a process of dialogue, it added. The Dimapur interaction will be followed by another at The Heritage, Kohima on April 28 from 10:00am onwards. An interaction with the Nagas in Delhi is also scheduled in first week of May.

Similar visits to different areas of the Naga-Land are also scheduled as a part of this initiative, the FNR’s statement informed.
