DIMAPUR, March 10 (MExN): Minister of Planning & Coordination, T.R.Zeliang, called upon Naga factions to give more focus on resolving conflict with India rather than wasting their times, resources and energy on factionalism so that people’s desire for peace would become a reality.
Addressing the gathering during the inauguration function of newly created Rural Development Block at Athibung town, which is reeling under tense situation due to intermittent clashes between two NSCNs factions, on Friday, T.R. Zeliang said that the spark of Naga national movement is gradually dying and people confident are losing ground because of the factionalism amongst the Naga National workers, therefore a time has come for Naga underground to change their mindset and pay more attention to the Naga national cause instead of deviating from the main issue.
“If Naga underground love people and respect their sacrifice and sentiment they should not fight here. Instead, they should jointly go and fight with New Delhi”, T.R. Zeliang said at Athibung town while adding that factional fighting would not bring any solution, but only instill fear psychosis amongst the people and hamper developmental activities.
