Folklore/ folktale narration of Chuwakha clan held

Dimapur, April 29 (MExN): More than hundred members of Chuwakha clan from different villages, mostly under Zunheboto district, and towns attended the folklore/ folktale narration programme organized by Chuwakha Kughuko Kuqhakulu (CKK) at Stone Park, NEZCC complex, Dimapur on April 26.   

A press release from CKK general secretary Hukuto Khulu and assistant general secretary Akato Chishi informed that the programme started with an invocation prayer by Rev. Luvito L Chishi. Further, Hotolu Chishi, CKK Advisor, exhorted the gathering and HK Khulu, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner, Nagaland, presented a short speech.

Meanwhile, Captain Hekiye Chishi, moderated the occasion, where the elderly people among the clan from different villages/ towns spoke on “Who was Chuwakha" and also stories related to their ancestors.

The programme was conducted by Er. Kavito Chishi, Joint Director NRE who is also the chairman of CKK.
The CKK has extended gratitude to the director of NEZCC for co-sponsoring the event, and the women folks of Toluvi village for presenting a folksong.
