Dimapur, August 31 (MExN): The Central Nagaland Student's Association (CNSA) on Tuesday voiced strong support for the Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) in its demand to make the Nagaland Foot Hill Road pliable.
Earlier on August 7, the NFHRCC had submitted a memorandum to the Nagaland government in which it had issued a 30-day ultimatum to the state government to positively respond to the plea in making the much-awaited Foot Hill Road pliable. The deadline expires on September 6.
The CNSA stated that it has been almost a decade that the NFHR project started but was never completed.
“Therefore, CNSA will join the NFHRCC in any form of agitation if the state government fails to turns a deft ear to respond to the wider interest of Naga people demands in expediting the NFHR at the earliest,” a statement issued by its President Himato Yeptho and General Secretary Lipemo M Tsopoe asserted.
