Forest fire in Jalukie, JPYO cautions perpetrators

Jalukie, April 2 (MExN): Despite many warnings and awareness to the general public, Jalukie Pumling Youth Organization (JPYO) has stated, jungle fire remains the menace of Jalukie area endangering wild animals and the lives and properties of the villagers nearby.

Underlining the forest fire which erupted today at Jalukie Students’ Union (JSU) Reserved Forest, JPYO in a press release issued by President Ituhangbe Hingleu has warned the perpetrators to restrain from such destructive act for no gain or selfish motive. It also called upon the government to come forward and help the struggling public in controlling such calamities and asked the Fire Department to deploy fire services at vulnerable sites before “the trend goes out of control.”
