In this write up I am going to broach on a very sensitive issue. Before I proceed further let us look at Jesus. He was beaten, spat upon and finally crucified. After going humiliations and pain he was crucified on the Cross but still he forgave those who crucified Him.
Assassinations and fratricidal killings have taken on all sides in the quest for Sovereignty in Nagalim (All Naga inhabited areas). In our quest for sovereignty, people have lost fathers, brothers, uncles and sons. Forgiveness is very hard and it takes superhuman strength to forgive.
It takes Love and courage to forgive. My appeal to all Nagas who are fighting for sovereignty or those who believe in sovereignty is that if Jesus, himself God could forgive. Let us Forgive keeping the bigger picture in mind. I know it is very hard to forgive but I know some people who have forgiven. It brings out the true Christian spirit in you. Nagas are Christians. Once forgiveness starts, healing of our Lim (land) will be unstoppable. There is especially hatred and enmity between Southern Nagas (Manipur) and Nagaland Nagas. It has to end. Our enemies are sitting and happily watching the slugfest.
And young people, please don't sow divisions among the Nagas with your ISM, ignorant and misinformed posts and comments in different Naga facebook pages. You are killing the Naga Spirit of unity by doing that. When elders are trying so hard to unite the Naga family don't be a pest.
Nagas let us UNITE!!!
