Though this press communiqué, I share my happiness in joining NPF party and heartily extend my gratitude to hon’ble Chief Minister Mr.Neiphiu Rio a modern dynamic Naga leader and state NPF president Dr. Shurhozelie, Hon’ble Minister planning, who is a matured statemen with his parental aptitude leading us with a vision, I congratulate them for completing three years with tremendous achievements. Indeed, their awakening Nagas right in the last general election was a unique elegy in the state and was timely, vigorous and successful. I join them not to stop the issue but to strengthen them to continue, and in God’s name this mandated NPF party should deep down be all loyal Naga citizens as seen earlier, it was said and done, we eulogize them, for understanding that all Nagas of today need to work together.
Subsequently, I am much indebted to Phek District NPF Leader Shri. Thenucho, Hon’ble Minister Home Nagaland and his 18th A/C leaders and voters, shri. Azo Nienu, Hon’ble Minister for Agri. Stationary, Nagaland and his 19th A/C leaders and voters, shri. Yitachu, Hon’ble, parliamentary secretary Law & Justice, Fishery Nagaland his 20th A/C leader and voters, shri. Aja K.G. Kenye, Hon’ble Former Minister Nagaland and state NPF General secretary (Adm) and all his 16th A/C leaders and workers and all other NPF colleagues, shri. Chivotso, president NPF Phek Division and colleagues, shri. Kamsang, president NPF 20th Meluri A/c and his colleagues, shri. Hikeyie president, NPF unit Losami, his colleagues and all voters of Losami including all NPF or leaders, CEC NPF, peoples and voters of Nagaland for welcoming me and my followers to join this mandated party for Nagas. I hope that despite of individual differences we shall uphold NPF party and strengthen it to make a permanent base regional party for regional Nagas in the days to come for, peace, unity, justice and development and be a passage to achieve Naga aspiration.
Further, I profoundly appreciate the Congress Unit of Losami for holding this historic day and extravagance day of 3rd April 2006 AD at Ezimikerelu who had resolved to resign enmmasse from Congress party to join NPF party under my leadership , so that the voters numbering to about 360 members including , Unit president youth wings, khel members and various posts with vice president ACC 20th Meluri A/C and vice president, DYC Phek including me led the teams to claim ‘absolute majority ‘ in favour of NPF leaders for the cause of Nagas, simultaneously on my joining NPF in the capacity of president DCC Phek and set good exemplary in the best interest for Naga issue. Nevertheless, I am most confident and hopeful that many of my sympathizers and like-minded leaders in the district and state shall follow despite of unhealthy counter attacks made against by few short-sighted Congress leaders, but I believe and wish that they too will realize early to strengthen the long protracted Naga issue with equi- closeness policy by not distancing away from the mainstream the NPF.
