DIMAPUR, JULY 29 (MExN): Y Vikheho Awomi, former Chairperson of the Dimapur Municipal Council, Nagaland, has been awarded the prestigious Rashtriya Jewel Award and Gold Medal and the Bharat Nirman Award and Gold Medal for his outstanding contribution in the field of social upliftment, his selfless efforts towards positive change in society, and excellence in his field of work.
This was announced through a release issued by Surinder Gopal Wahi, General Secretary, Friendship Forum of India, New Delhi. The awards were presented to Awomi by the Mayor of Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Farhad Suri, at an award ceremony held at New Delhi on July 29 organised by the Friendship Forum of India.
Besides this, Vikheho Awomi was also awarded the Rising Personalities of India Award and Gold Medal sponsored by the International Penguin Publishing House.
The Friendship Forum of India wished “highly capable and upcoming leader” like Vikheho Awomi success in his future endeavours.
