Kohima, January 4 (MExN): Former NLA Speaker Thenucho Tunyi has expressed deep sorrow over the passing away of Khukiye Swu, retired Director of School Education. A condolence message from the former Speaker described him as a remarkable individual who profoundly influenced the lives of many. Conveying heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, he stated that the demise of Khukiye Swu has caused profound grief. Recalling his days as headmaster of Private Middle School at Kikruma village, Tunyi said that he had the honour of being a student under him during that period. “In his death we have lost a decent human being who leaves behind a legacy of dedication and sincerity to his craft. It is my humble prayer that the Almighty God grants peace and comfort to the bereaved family,” stated the condolence message.
