Free Coaching begins for civil service aspirants

Under the initiative of Dimapur District Administration, Dimapur Municipal Council and the Dimapur Police Commissionerate, a Free Coaching Class cum Study Centre has been started at Circuit House, Dimapur from September 15.  

The classes would be held every Saturday from 9 am to 11 am for a period of three months culminating on December 15.  

According to DMC Administrator, Moa Sangtam who briefed the aspirants about the course during an orientation programme held on Saturday, the organizers had focused more on quality rather than quantity and for which they had invited those candidates who had cleared Mains Examination in the NPSC and those who have cleared UPSC Prelims. It was informed that a total of nine aspirants have been selected for the course. Moa informed that there would be 24 sessions in total setting aside Tuesdays and Thursdays of every week when the aspirants can come to the Study Centre (Circuit House Dimapur) and avail themselves the study materials. He said that the Circuit House Conference Hall would be open for the aspirants on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 pm till 5:30 pm and can borrow books as well besides interacting with each other.  

“We the organizers are taking this as an extra curricular activity although it is not our job and so we request the aspirants to be serious,” he appealed.  

DC Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel IAS also encouraged the aspirants to be serious with the coaching classes and put in hardwork and dedication if they wanted to crack any civil service exams.  

Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, Limasunep talked about “absolute concentration” and general awareness on almost every subject which he said was vital for cracking civil service exams.
