Kohima, June 12 (MExN): The Free Computer Literacy for underprivileged girls was organised by the “Women’s Studies Centre,” Nagaland University at RIELIT Kohima from May 30 to June 11 last.
The certification programme was presided over by the Director in-charge, WSC Erali Swu. The dean and campus in-charge Prof. NDR Chandra in his speech stressed on the need of computer knowledge and its relevance and dangers in today’s world of information age. Speeches were also given by faculty members of RIELIT. A special number was presented by the trainees. Rovisenuo spoke on behalf of the trainees. Certificate were given away by the Dean and campus in-charge to the 30 trainees. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by research officer Pete, Women’s Studies Centre.
