
ZUNHEBOTO, AUGUST 23 (MExN): A free surgical camp will be organised at the District Hospital, Zunheboto on August 25 under the initiative of the Chief Minister’s Mobile Operation Theatre (CM-MOT). The camp will be led by MLA Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhutso along with a team of specialist doctors.
The programme aims to provide free and easy access to specialized healthcare, particularly for rural communities facing challenges in availing surgical and diagnostic services. The camp will cover general surgeries, obstetrics & gynaecology, orthopaedics, dental, and ENT procedures. Surgeries related to eye and ear are not included.
Patients previously referred for surgery but unable to undergo the procedure will be eligible to avail this facility, provided they carry their medical records and reports. Individuals advised to undergo surgery are encouraged to attend.
