Kohima, August 31 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) held a meeting with the fruit/vegetable traders and wholesalers within the jurisdiction of KMC on August 25 and the rate of fruits/vegetables have been approved.
KMC administrator T Lanusenla Longkumer asked all the shopkeepers to display the approved rate chart near each weighing balance.
Use of digital weighing machine and hygienic condition are also to be maintained. Traders and customers have been asked to mandatorily follow all SOP guidelines during business.
No item shall be sold beyond the fixed rate. They shall stop the import till new rate is approved, KMC stated in an order.
