Recently on 6th April, tranquilly combed with fresh tocsin mind, anxious and patiently, like many other applicants, I was waiting outside the office and hopefully expecting to hear my roll number being called out anytime soon. I had come to attend a government job interview for some 15 Undergraduate/Asst. Teacher Post Vacancies under Manipur North Autonomous Council, Senapati District.
Nearly 2 hours later, I still noticed the queue bias and hadn’t moved fairly to some extend, the umpteen crowds standing there, positions were still the same as before. Having grown tedious, finally I began to hunt, compelling to know the reason behind the gripped pique delaying.
My first thought was that the government officials stationed there were coughing slow the ingress. A profoundly most likely public ideology about the bureaucrats when such accident flood, another well known trademark of them is malinger.
But my shimmering fascination was cut- short and apparently wrong, this time the grotesque is something frigid and outstretched perspicuous, a most shocking flash thrown wave have dangle appraising potential danger.
What I’m piteously talking is about a feint. The entire episode blotting the normal blotting the normal proceeding interview session is that, an underground outfit leaders had efficaciously stormed inside the CEO office and were significantly demanding a flat percentage of Five (5) Job Post Vacancies to be given directly into their doubtful hands, while the determined applicants awaits in the sun heat stroke outside.
Certainly, most people agreed that the patriotic leaders have double crossed the limit again, when depraved to hold a government service without credentials is universally judged as anti-social elements and illegal too.
It’s a hard destabilize revoke when the government after a dead long period of time is spacing a little employment in the hill district, no doubt, everyone blends a strong suspicious mind over the selection board at a glance. Maybe, the best emphasized answer to such confusion is, only the few able gadded applicants with powerful political connection or had have bribed heavily some top bureaucrats will definitely have the job. Of course, a surveillance logic freely captured and easily understandable.
Meantime, heavy filled conspicuous question cries bursting a bottom pitched woes into the surface, what about the poor and academically deserving students? Is the underground outfit demanding the jobs for themselves or they don’t trust the corrupted government will work out a judicious to the right candidates?
Hinted and exposed wholly, now the entire propaganda regarding public job maneuver seems to be largely at risk. Unless such tenable employment opportunity is also safeguarded by the general public from various critical gruesome and unfair means. Or else, the precious future is predicable to be on the breadline. A malediction drifted down by our negligence, greed and corruption. Morality, we must remember, is a concept developed by us humans to maintain social welfare.
