General auditions for Mr Dimapur 2021 were held at The Four Season Hotel, Dimapur on August 28. According to the organisers, Meraki Entertainment Nagaland, over 20 aspiring youths from various parts of Dimapur turned up for audition, out of which only 12 finalists were selected for the Grand Finale scheduled on October 9. The jury for the audition included President and Founder of Mr Kohima & Mr Dimapur Thritong Sangtam, Fashion Designer Sanjeev Tamang and Miss Zoomax 2019 Glory. The winner of Mr Dimapur 2021 gets an entry as finalist to Mr India International contest, and the winner will work closely with the organization for various causes and events. The official photographer and videographer for the contest are Keyi Putlang and Dolen Quinker respectively.
