GLORIA PATRI: THE WORSHIP REVOLUTION

Dimapur, April 30: For a long time now, Christian youth ministries have been confined mostly to the spiritual and church based activities. However, in the recent past, there has been a great visibility of ministries engaging outside the four walls of the church and witnessing the gospel through various activities.

30 days continuous cleanliness drive and worship in Dimapur city
In a ground-breaking project, a team of young people under the patronage of Sinai Ministry are going out to the streets of Dimapur to make an impact through cleanliness drive. Young people from different parts of the city are already volunteering for the 30 days continuous cleanliness drive in Dimapur city, which will be conducted every morning from 5:00 am to 6:00 am staring from May 2.

The Dimapur Municipal Council has welcomed this mission from young people and it is willing to extend support for the cleanliness drive.

Wagang Longchari of Sinai Ministry says, “This is the generation the Lord has anointed to shape the History of Nagaland. God is raising His own armies.” He has informed, “GLORIA PATRI now will be 30 Nights of authentic worship for the glory of the Father. It will be a gathering of worshippers from different churches, ministries, groups under one roof to worship the Living God.” The event will be held at IMC from May 1 to 7 and Life spring Corner May 8 to 31 from 5:00 pm every  evening.

The event will he held simultaneously with R5, an initiative of Sinai Ministry, which is month long residential school with the purpose to disciple, train and release leaders for this generation in obedience to the Bible. With the theme ‘Kindled Life - Transformed World’, the goal is to extend the kingdom of God by emulating and applying heavens’ standards here on earth. R5 stands for Revive, Restore, Recruit, Release and Reform.

It may be mentioned here that the whole concept of the month-long Gloria Patri was generated after the ‘7 days worship event of Gloria Patri’ which was held in IMC, Dimapur in the month of April where young people suggested of doing something for the city and Nagaland state as a whole.

“My youths and I are so blessed through 'Gloria Patri'. This is what Dimapur needs, this is what Nagaland needs,” said Kayio Basena. Kewepelo Mero states that the idea of Gloria Patri was just awesome and he “will be looking forward such gathering again.” A young boy, Imsong who attended all the 7-days worship event suggests that a “follow up revival of Gloria Patria” should be organised because “the youths are on fire.”

An unnamed person testified, “Gloria Patri created such a tidal wave and people are still in that wave. I do not want to see it just vanish. I have been serving Daddy through praise and worship and so much more and I have seen wonders take place but not like in Gloria Patri where all came together. And for once I actually believe in the statement ‘Nagaland for CHRIST.’ I believe we can do it “The Change” Revival.”
