NIULAND, OCTOBER 27 (MExN): District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) Niuland, under the BetiBachaoBetiPadhao initiative, organised an educational visit for students of Government Middle School (GMS) Xelhozhe to the Nagaland Zoological Park on October 24.

The programme was held with an aim to promote environmental awareness and sensitise students on wildlife conservation and preservation of natural habitats.

During the visit, the students had the opportunity to observe various species of animals and birds, and learn about the need to coexist with nature. They were also briefed on the role of humans in protecting wildlife and the impact of human activities on the environment.

The initiative is part of DHEW Niuland’s ongoing efforts to promote education and awareness among students, particularly girls, on key social and environmental issues. The visit is expected to motivate the students to contribute towards conservation and sustainability in their communities.
