GOC Spear Corps calls on Chief Minister

Dimapur, March 6 (MExN): General Officer Commanding Spear Corps, Lieutenant General Rana Pratap Kalita called on Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio in Dimapur on March 6. They discussed the prevailing security situation in the state as well as along the Indo Myanmar border, informed an official press release. The Chief Minister appreciated the armed forces for their contribution in improving the security situation in the state and also commended the selfless sacrifices and support of the Army and Assam Rifles to the people of Nagaland towards their wellbeing. The General Officer also apprised the Chief Minister of various measures that are being taken by the Indian Army and Assam Rifles for achieving peace, development and prosperity in the state.
