Chümoukedima, August 25 (MExN): The Gorkha Zaika – The Taste of Gorkha was inaugurated at Ward-2, Chümoukedima Town (1st Gate), attached to Nagaland Police Gate.
The opening ceremony, held at 4:00 PM, witnessed enthusiastic participation from well-wishers, friends and community members. The event was graced by Samuel Chettri, Pastor of Chümoukedima Village Nagamese Baptist Church, as the Special Guest, who officially inaugurated the outlet with a word of blessing and encouragement.
Gorkha Zaika seeks to bring the authentic flavours of the Gorkha community closer to the people of Chümoukedima, serving a variety of traditional and modern delicacies including momo, thukpa and other signature dishes.
The founders expressed gratitude to those who attended and supported the grand opening, while sharing their vision of making Gorkha Zaika “not just a food outlet, but also a place where culture and taste come together.”
The ceremony concluded with a fellowship where guests enjoyed Gorkha cuisine.
