Government servants & their wage

Kakiye Yehato Swu

Oh, Nagas working at Government House. We must help one another. Corruption among the Government Officials is common; it became a profession. You are paid by the Government for your work. But, that has not satisfied your need and the method of ‘Bribe’ has become a habit.

No ‘File’ is put forward without your share. Without ‘Cash in Hand’ you cannot move the ‘Files’. You are paid for that work and you are not put in that chair to earn through the means of ‘Bribe’. Know it, ‘Bribe’ is crime. You must think twice.

What would you think if a man asks you for cash to do your work? A villager came to your office with hope in his head through the midst of obstacle. But instead of offering a helping hand, you took a bribe.

There is a reward for those who tear the poor and needy. It has a vengeance for sure! We are all Nagas by blood. Have mercy on your blood. Your monthly income is Rs 30000- Rs 100000; that too is not sufficient for a month. Did you ever realisze the reality of villagers who earn Rs 200- Rs 500 a day.

None of the Government Officials, are look like. They are going to Church on Sunday. You are the leader in the Church, but at office, you look like a lion. A lion can do anything to quench its hunger.

We are Christian by name. The oath of the Baptism must be respected. Remember the days of the Sunday School. Life remain that same as much as we greed. Greed will only land you to poverty, and it, will kill you.
