Kohima, February 24 (MExN): Nagaland Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla has extended greetings to the Angami community on the occasion of Sekrenyi festival. In a message issued from Lok Bhavan, Kohima, the Governor described Sekrenyi as “the festival of purification and renewal.” He said it reflects “the enduring values of unity, discipline and cultural pride.” “As this significant celebration is observed with traditional rituals and community fellowship, may it inspire harmony, mutual respect and collective progress,” the message read. The Governor further stated, “Let us reaffirm our commitment to preserving our rich heritage while working together for the peace and prosperity of our society.”
