Kohima, August 29 (MExN): Extending warm Janmashtami greetings to the people of Nagaland, Governor RN Ravi called on the people to imbibe the festival's message of love, compassion and selfless service and work together to take the nation forward.
“Janmashtami is the celebration of the birth, life and teachings of Lord Krishna and is celebrated across the country with traditional fervor and enthusiasm. May his noble message of righteous conduct and action inspire each and every one of us to strengthen the moral foundations of our society,” Ravi stated in his message.
He also urged citizens to observe COVID-19 protocols during the celebrations and wished everyone good health, happiness and prosperity.
