Kohima, March 15 (MExN): Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav, along with his family, visited Khonoma village on March 14.
The Governor was received by Minister for Women Resource Development and Horticulture Salhoutuonuo Kruse, Lokayukta Nagaland Nino Iralu, along with village leaders and officials.
During the visit, the Governor interacted with villagers and community leaders and appreciated the people of Khonoma for preserving their cultural heritage and traditional values. He also commended the community for their collective efforts in protecting the environment and promoting sustainable living practices.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Governor and his family to experience the cultural heritage, traditions and scenic landscape of the village, while acknowledging the role played by the community in preserving nature and promoting eco-friendly practices.
