Mokokchung, April 21 (DIPR): In compliance with the government order, Senior Treasury Officer Mokokchung, Alemla Aier has informed all concerned DDOs under Mokokchung district to ensure all regular employees to open their Bank Account for salary payment.
It is to be noted that as per the government guidelines, salaries of all government servants (Regular) has to be drawn only through Bank Account. In addition to this, Chief Manager SBI Mokokchung has informed all DDOs in the district to follow the guidelines for payment of salaries to the employees.
The Chief manager said the Bill should be accompanied with a list of employees (Hard Copy) containing their Account numbers, name of employee and amount of salary in Excel format under signature and seal of the concerned DDO. The bill should be accompanied with a CD in Excel format and total amount should tally with that of Bill Amount. Most importantly, the Bill shall be paid either in cash or in transfer wholly. Hence all the employees included in a Bill should have an Account with SBI (any Branch) for payment to be routed through Accounts. As this new process will involve some extra work compared to cash payment, the payment may be delayed at initial stage for a couple of days until the whole things get streamlined after which there shall be no delayed.
