Govt high schools under Kohima informed

Kohima, October 14 (DIPR): All the Government High Schools in Kohima District have been informed that the DPDB Kohima has in its entry conference held on September 19 envisaged to conduct a few befitting programs during 2012 to encourage the schools of Government High Schools of Kohima District to come at par with their counter parts in all aspects.
Unlike other years, the Board will not only encourage the students but has also decided to challenge the teachers to give more efforts so as to produce quality results. With this in view, the Board has framed the following programs to be conducted during the year.
For Students: (Topper Award): That the Board will give Cash award of Rs. 10,000/- each with certificate to HSLC candidates of government High Schools in Kohima District who come up to Top 50. In case of no student comes up to this level, the award will be given to the highest aggregate marks with 1st Division with an amount of Rs. 5,000/- each with Certificate.
For Teachers (Best School Award): The Board has earmarked an amount of Rs. 30,000/- for any Government School in Kohima District who can produce cent percent pass in the HSLC Examination. (Percentage from the number of students appeared and not from students enrolled). The cash award is to be given exclusively for teachers’ welfare fund.
The Board further encourages all the teachers and students of Government High Schools of Kohima District to strive harder and excel in the Examinations 2012 by putting more efforts to get the award to make themselves and DPDB Kohima proud.
