Govt info sought on Khoney murder

KOHIMA, JUNE 30 (MExN): The Yimchungrii Union Kohima has urged upon the State government to let everyone know what so far the latter has done to implement the charter demands laid down by the ENPO with regard to the murder Lt. Khoney Chang.
In a release issued by its President K. Mukha Yim, the union said that everyone in Nagaland has come to know that the murder was a barbaric act and has registered outright condemnations, but they are still in the dark as to what the state government has done so far to settle the case as per the demands laid down by the ENPO.

The union also stated that they had made the matter to cool down, even though outraged, with the feeling of brotherhood of all Naga tribes, and had therefore provided space for amicable settlement, and as per the commitment made by the State government to solve the case as per the demands made by the ENPO.

“Hence, with much anticipation the Yimchunger Union Kohima would like to ask the government to let everyone know what the government has done so far to meet the charter of demand laid down by ENPO”, the release added.
