The GPRN/NSCN expressed innermost resentment over the surprised and unauthorized raids carry out upon official of GPRN by the 29 AR, Nihokhu post, under the command of one Major Samanda at the wee hour on 11th April 2012. The persistent harassments and nuisances being caused to its workers becoming a daily routine, the esteem cordial relationship between national workers and security forces has dropped far below the pre-cease fire times. Thus the current cease fire becomes a disrespectful, signifying an illogical imposition on GPRN/NSCN.
Contrary to mutually agreed CFGR the 29 AR Nihokhu post, unlawfully executed duties and raids the residence of Mr. Hotoi, Jt. Secy. GPRN/NSCN at wee hour (1:00AM to 4:00AM ) on 11th April 2012. The Assam Rifles who recently posted from Manipur cannot tackle or apply the same yard stick to Nagaland, if it is handled cunningly the situation may blow out of control, which may result in devastating and hamper even the current hard earned peace process. The armies deceitfully in disguise, dressed in civil like gang of bandits, slyly sneak into every room searched suspiciously and painstakingly turn upside down, when found no documents or arms. The army desperately out of frustration pick up bikinis, bra’s, under wears etc In the presence of entire family members to humiliate and to instil fear psychosis upon innocent Nagas and started questioning sarcastically to which brand those wears belongs to?. Enough of humiliation has so far endured for the sake of political option.
The Assam Rifles overtake and override the powers, functions and moral right of CFSB members, confiscation of weapons belonging to card holder even the ID card holders are not spared. Thus to put an end to all such unwanted and harmful development, that may occur or create “out of a breach of CFSB committee’s decree” and also which is highly questionable and detrimental to the Cease-Fire Ground rules. Henceforth, the GPRN/NSCN will no more remain a silent spectator but, will question whether it is under the knowledge and consent of MHA authorities or not? One Mr. Samanda will own and shoulder all the moral responsibility for any eventuality, so better get yourself prepared to answer all the questions when ask over.
The Assam Rifles who arrogantly claim themselves as “friends of hill people” or “foes of the hill people?” should immediately stop raids, end harassment meted out to the peaceful Nagas, cease instilling fear psychosis and bring to an end of inhumane treatment towards Nagas. The 29 AR are advice to uphold and adhered to Cease Fire Ground Rules for peaceful co-existence in the near future. However if situations aggravates in the name of cease-fire and CFGR one Samanda should hold moral responsibility who is desperately hunting for MEDAL or METAL?
