GPRN: Slams NSCN (K) and tells ENPO to note and ponder

The GPRN/NSCN slams NSCN (K) for yet another ploy initiated ‘assassination bid mission’ to Tizit but failed, Causing irritation and incessant provocation to GPRN/NSCN seems to be topmost priority achieving a political mileage for NSCN (K).

The Khaplang boys from Ponghong Designated Camp in full combat displayed on the street of Tizit town creating fear psychosis and attempted the life of Lt. Ekho Konyak by indiscriminately fired upon the residence of one public in presence of entire family members. But, fortunately he escaped unhurt.

The ENPO needs to ponder, on hasty pronouncement basing on speculated culmination in lifting the ban of Non-cooperation on NSCN (K) with no proper scrutiny, evidently indicates the ‘error of judgement’ at current decisive phase creating exasperating situation.

The GPRN/NSCN once again reiterates that it still honour and acknowledges the 18th December 2007, ENPO’s resolution in true spirit, to accomplish the longing aspiration of the people, who are yelling and screaming for ‘cessation of inclusive hostility’ among factions, so that peace prevails in ENPO jurisdiction.

The GPRN deeply mourns the death of two cadres who were killed in coldblooded by NSCN (K) on 21ST April 2012 near Phushumi Village while on their way to Aboi, Mon district. They were faithful and dedicated patriots to the cause till their last breath. The vacuum created by their loss will be difficult to fill in times to come, which is not only lost to the families but to the Nagas in general.

The GPRN extent our heartfelt sorrow to the bereaved families and pray that, Almighty God bless solace in their time of grief.
