DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 17 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has slammed and condemned the NSCN Khaplang boys for what it claimed was an attempt to “de-stabilize the present peaceful and congenial atmosphere by violating the reaffirmation of ENPO’s past resolutions and attempting the life of Major Noktha, NSCN, at his residence in the wee hour at Shangnyu village in Mon district on 16th September, 2012”.
The GPRN/NSCN in a press note issued by its MIP has once again reiterated that, it still honoured the 18th December 2007, ENPO’s resolution in true spirit and acknowledged the ENPO’s reaffirmation of earlier resolutions in the recently held meeting with all its six federating units on 11th September at Tuensang, so as to accomplish the long aspiration of the people, for ‘cessation of inclusive hostility’ among factions, and to prevail peace in ENPO jurisdiction.
However, the MIP stated that the “K-boys as usual habit continue to infuriate the GPRN/NSCN once again” and that they had “demonstrated their true colour with their nefarious activities and cruelly went all-out against the reaffirmed resolutions of ENPO, by indiscriminately firing” upon the residence of Major Noktha, Naga Army, at Shangnyu village, Mon. Fortunately he could escape unhurt but injured one of its cadre, the MIP informed.
The GPRN/NSCN has sternly cautioned the NSCN “K-boys that, regardless of utmost restrain exhibited by GPRN, to come to an end of factional killing, but all fallen in to the deaf ear of unruly k-boys”.
“Hence, if continue to persist in never-ending pestering attitude, the GPRN will not hang-on quiet at all times, but will be bound by circumstances to act and will leave no stone unturned but to show an exemplary to teach them a lesson with a iron hand”, the MIP note stated.
