DIMAPUR, AUGUST 6 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN on Tuesday has disputed the list of Naga Political Groups (NPGs) released recently by the FGN.
In the rejoinder, MIP GPRN/NSCN stated that the “so called Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) which claims to represent the Naga people, still appears to be utterly naïve and perplexed about the situations and circumstances in Naga-land.”
Stating that it has been necessitated to clear confusion created by the “ill informed press release of FGN," the GPRN/NSCN clarified that there is only one unification government under the banner of GPRN/NSCN led by President, Gen (retd) MB Neokpao Konyak, and Ato Kilonser, Alezo Venuh.
Secondly, it stated that former Ato Kilonser Kitovi was impeached on April 21 and, therefore, he is no more the General Secretary of the Unification government. Thirdly, Kilonser, Azheto Chophy is a Member of Collective Leadership (MCL) and not the President of Unification government as stated by FGN.
