Dimapur, January 14 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has stated today that its Government has taken “serious note” of the “rampant defection of national workers amongst the Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs).”
In a press release from its MIP, the GPRN/NSCN made a “clarion call to all the members who have defected to other NNPGs to return and report to its parent institution within 15 days from the day of publication in the local papers (January 15).”
“Whereby reminding those defectors that the Working Committee (WC) had signed a joint declaration on the May 13, 2017, and subsequently on September 19, 2017, and October 6, 2017, which was finally re-affirmed in January 2018. This joint declaration was done solely for the purpose of upholding the principle of reconciliation and unity both in letter and in spirit so as not to entertain any defection among the NNPGs,” stated the GPRN/NSCN.
