Our attention had been drawn to the report published in the local dailies implicating the GPRN/NSCN government of its involvement in 32 Atoizu A/C.
While we do not refute the personal involvement, if any, of our cadres in the election process, we out rightly refute the allegations against our government as we have clearly instructed our members to desist from taking part in the election in their official capacity.
As regard the supposed agreement reached between the Independent candidate and the GPRN/NSCN government, we would like to make it clear that any photocopied documents cannot be regarded as genuine. Such unfounded allegations of serious nature have greatly tarnished the image of our government and we will take up the matter and find out the truth. If any such documents are provided in original then our government is always open to sit and discuss.
Any political party, agents or individuals resorting to baseless allegations against GRRN/NSCN for their party or personal benefit shall be thoroughly investigated and befitting actions shall be initiated against them. Likewise, if any of our officials are found to be involved for their personal gains, action will be taken upon them by the GPRN/NSCN government.
We reiterate that the GPRN/NSCN government is not in support of any political party.
Ghukiho Zhimo
Home Secretary,
GPRN/NSCN
