GPRN/NSCN regional authorities reaffirm support to leadership

DIMAPUR, JUNE 20 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN, Ministry of Kilo (Home) Affairs held a general meeting of regional authorities on June 20 at the Tatar Hall, Council Headquarters (CHQ), Naga Unification Camp, Khehoyi. The meeting was held in the presence of Ato Kilonser Alezo Venuh and Kilo Kilonser Huvito Yepthomi, informed a press release from the MIP of the GPRN/NSCN. 

The meeting, attended by Regional Authorities of all Regions, Sub-Regions, Union Territory (UT) and Administrative Affairs reaffirmed to stand by the ‘Extra-Ordinary National Assembly Resolution of April 21, 2024’ and extended its full support to the collective leadership of General (Retd) MB Neokpao Konyak, President, GPRN/NSCN; and Alezo Venuh, Ato Kilonser, GPRN/NSCN.

It resolved that “no organisation(s) or group(s) using GPRN/NSCN (Unification) banner, other than that led by the collective leadership of General (Retd) MB Neokpao Konyak and Alezo Venuh, will be allowed to establish any Region(s) or administrative unit(s) in the Naga homeland.”

The meeting also reaffirmed its endorsement upon the collective leadership to continue carrying forward the Naga political issue under the banner of Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC,NNPGs) with the Government of India till its logical conclusion, based on the “Agreed Position” of November 17, 2017.
