GPRN/NSCN responds to NNC (N/A) statement

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 14 (MExN): The MIP GPRN/NSCN has responded to the statement issued by NNC on the 10th of February, 2012 denying that 51 of its members had merged with the GPRN/NSCN, and only 16 were its members and the remaining ‘fake and wrong’. “Why would the GPRN make any statements that are not valid or hold truth? NNC should understand that any members enrolled in their organization, whether before 10 years or is only a day old is still its cadre. And denouncing its former cadres as fake shows why its members are slowly sailing away from its fold”, informed the MIP.

Taking into consideration the reconciliation process that is taking place among various Naga political groups, the GPRN has advised the NNC (N/A) to start “reassessing their stance, and instead of deprecating their former cadres, who have joined the right path in strengthening the reconciliation process, should also consider joining them”.
