GPRN/NSCN slams NSCN (K) on ‘assasination bid’

DIMAPUR, APRIL 24 (MexN): The GPRN/NSCN has slammed the NSCN (K) for what it termed as “yet another ploy”, an ‘assassination bid mission’ send to Tizit but which failed. According to a press note from the MIP, this has caused “irritation and incessant provocation to GPRN/NSCN”.

According to the MIP note, the “Khaplang boys from Ponghong Designated Camp in full combat displayed on the street of Tizit town creating fear psychosis and attempted the life of Lt. Ekho Konyak by indiscriminately firing upon the residence of one public in presence of entire family members”. But, fortunately he escaped unhurt, the MIP note from the GPRN/NSCN stated.  “The ENPO needs to ponder, on hasty pronouncement basing on speculated culmination in lifting the ban of Non-cooperation on NSCN (K) with no proper scrutiny, evidently indicates the ‘error of judgement’ at current decisive phase creating exasperating situation”, the MIP note stated.

The GPRN/NSCN once again reiterateed that it still honours and acknowledges the 18th December 2007, ENPO’s resolution in true spirit, “to accomplish the longing aspiration of the people, who are yelling and screaming for ‘cessation of inclusive hostility’ among factions, so that peace prevails in ENPO jurisdiction”.
