Dimapur, October 26 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has “whole heartedly” conveyed its appreciation to Inno S.S. Khaplang, the President of NSCN (K) for “clearly spelling out his political roadmap through his letter to the FNR”.
The GPRN/NSCN in a press note from the MIP has stated that it will extend all possible help towards the suffering of Naga brothers living in Myanmar. The GPRN/NSCN has also stated that it was thankful to SS Khaplang for assuring “that Nagas of Myanmar will create no problems and will not stand as a hindrance towards the political destiny of Nagaland”.
Pointing out that the truce signed between Myanmar Government and Nagas of Myanmar under S.S. Khaplang leadership was good news for Nagas in general, the GPRN/NSCN stated that it was a sign of positive transformation for the displaced Nagas of Myanmar to re-organise themselves.
“S.S. Khaplang has spelled out very clearly that the political destiny of the Nagas living in Myanmar should be left to the people of Myanmar and the political destiny of people living in Nagaland should be left to the Nagas of Nagaland”, the MIP note stated.
The GPRN/NSCN wished for an early solution to the decade’s old political conflict between the Government of Myanmar and Nagas of Myanmar. “We appreciate S.S. Khaplang for clearing his position to the Nagas”, the MIP note stated.
