‘Graduate Career Fair’ sees huge turnout in PCC

Patkai, March 22 (MExN): Hundreds of undergraduate students participated in a Graduate Career Fair Series 2022 organised by Young Indians (YI) Nagaland in partnership with EduCentre Nagaland and hosted by Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) at its indoor stadium on March 21.

The fair was the initiative of YI Nagaland, the junior version of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) that comes together to help youths in nation building while nurturing young minds of the country. 

Altogether 11 stalls were put up at the fair comprising of EBS, Imperial Academy, NPSC Mentors, Achievers Academy, ALS, Skill Ability, NIIT, Pinnacle Skills, Trig Empowerment Institute, Employment Provider, and ABBS.

A press release issued by the PCC Mass Communication stated that Dr Thepfuvilie Pieru, Principal, Patkai Christian College (PCC) while inaugurating the fair welcomed the organisers and called upon the students to avail the benefits from various stalls put up for the day.

Merina Achumi, the event manager stated that the objective of the career fair was to create a platform for undergraduate students to be well equipped with skills and knowledge in order to choose right career options. 

Stall operators on the day were of the view that career oriented programs should be introduced in the beginning of the courses to the students in order to build their confidence and prepare them early. 

Earlier, the fair started with invocation pronounced by Chaplain, PCC, Rev Dr Vichukho Ngukha, followed by a briefing about the event from Lezo Putsure, Director, EduCentre Nagaland.
